During that period, many Turcoman principalities were established in Anatolia. The Kaymakli Underground City has a complex web of rooms that have been connected by various narrow tunnels that further extend up to <\/span><b>eight <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">levels. Only four tunnels are open for tourists to visit and explore.&nbsp;<\/span><\/li><li><b>Ihlara Valley<\/b><b><\/b><br><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The beautiful Ihlara Valley attracts tourists for its tall poplar trees and fertile farming plots. The valley was earlier the favourite retreat spot for hermetic monk communities, who are known to carve churches and monastery complexes into the cliff. The most famous examples being the Kokar Kilise, Y\u0131lanl\u0131 Kilise, and Kirk Dam Alt\u0131 Kilise.
