Day 02: Khajuraho
In the morning after breakfast, you will be taken to the eastern and western temple groups of Khajuraho for sightseeing. The Chausat Yogini, Vishwanath Temple, Kandariya Mahadeo, Lakshmana Temple and Chitragupta Temple all are situated in this western group. The eastern group temples are mostly the ‘Brahma Temple’ that has a ‘four-faced lingam’, the ‘Javari Temple’ that has lavish and ornate carvings and gateways and the ‘Vamana Temple’ that has ‘apsaras’ embellished in the walls.
You can go back to the hotel after the sightseeing and get ready for the evening dance festival. After the festival, you can rest for the night at Khajuraho.
Day 03: Khajuraho
Post breakfast continues with the sightseeing in the daytime and proceeds to the Raneh Falls in the later part of the day. The Raneh Falls is a marking to the Rewa plateau where the Ken River etches out a canyon amidst which you can locate numerous waterfalls. Get back to Khajuraho and prepare yourself for another date with the artists at the festival at evening. The night will be spent at the Khajuraho hotel for rest.
