Description
Sikkim Rhododendron Tour is one of the most exiting trip which offers hiking and short trek to some of the most beautiful Rhododendron region of sikkim. In Spring, from late April to mid May, the forests of sikkim are ablaze with brilliant Rhododendron blossoms both in Low and High Altitude region. Barsey (Varsey) is a Wildlife Sanctuary in West Sikkim. You have a myriad of flora and fauna available here . including the elusive Red Panda. The place is more famous for Rhododendrons and is aptly named the Valley of Flowers. The sanctuary is home to several species of Rhododendron, Primula, Magnolia, Oaks and Pine.

– Partly the route resembles a level mountain path – with horizontal stages.
