Itinerary

• Day 1- Bagdogra To Pelling:
  Driving time approx. 4.5 hrs.
  Meal Plan: Dinner at the property|
  
  Day 2- Pelling Local Sights:
  Pelling is a must visit for the magnificent views of Mount kanchendzonga and the Eastern Himalayas.|
  
  Day 3- Pelling To Gangtok:
  Depart for the capital city of Gangtok. The drive is straightforward and passes through some lovely countryside. You can have a lunch stop at the small township of ‘Rabongla’. One can also do a short quick stopover here to see some sights if interested. Driving time approx. 2.5 hrs to Rabong and 5 hrs in total to Gangtok.

  Day 4- Gangtok Local Sights:
  Explore the sights and sounds of Gangtok and its surroundings. This will be a day of getting familiar with what Sikkim has to offer and what better way than to start by visiting the local hangouts and Monasteries.

  Day 5- A Day Excursion To The Indo- China Border At ‘Nathu-La’:
  This is a full day starting out from Gangtok in the morning and returning to the hotel by late afternoon/ Evening.
  Driving time one way to Nathula approx. 3 hrs.
  Highlights:
  • Sherathang. (this is the mart where the Indo- China trade items are off loaded on the Indian side)
  • Tsangu lake. (a sacred high altitude lake, and most popular tourist site for its scenic splendour)
  • Nathu-la (The actual line of border territory between India and Chinese occupied Tibet also known as Tibet Autonomous Region)
  • Baba Mandir. (A sacred site for the Indian Army Soldiers and the generally beautiful landscape)

  Day 6- Gangtok To Bagdogra / New Jalpaiguri:
  Driving time approx. 4.5 hours.
