Spiti Valley is a Himalayan desert mountain valley situated at an average height of 13,000 feet in the north-eastern part of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Often regarded as a chunk of Tibet marooned in India, Spiti Valley is enigmatic and is interspersed with tiny hamlets and serene monasteries sitting precariously on mountain crags spread across its notched moonscape. The scattered villages comprise of whitewashed mud-brick homes amid rugged mountains and barley fields.

Day 01:~ Chandigarh To Shimla On Arrival at Chandigarh Railway Station/Airport we will pick up you and process to Shimla. Shimla is former summer capital of British India & now a capital of Himachal Pradesh, set amidst the snow capped shivalik mountain ranges offering some stunning views of the mighty Himalayas. Shimla also called the “Queen of Hill Stations”. It is one of the most popular and biggest hill stations surrounded by pine, deodar, oak and rhododendron forests.Overnight stay in Shimla.
Day 02:~ Shimla To Sarahan Today after breakfast we will process to Sarahan On the way Theog,Matiyana,Narkanda (3,400 metres/ from where you can have a spectacular view of the mighty Himalaya. Sarahan is a small village at the border of Shimla and Kinnaur districts of Himachal Pradesh. After reaching Sarahan Check in Hotel in Sarahan. Afternoon visit the famous Bhimakali temple one of the 51 Shaktipeeths. Attend the mesmerising evening Aarti Ceremony there. From here we have superb view of Shrikhand Mahadev peak. Overnight stay in Sarahan.
Day 03: Shimla - Sangla -Chitkul Today after we will process to Sangla where you will check in at your hotel. After lunch you will be taken on a walk through Kamru Fort and Sangla villages (1-2 hrs) and we will visit the beautifully carved old temples and Buddhist monasteries. You will have plenty of opportunity to speak to the local people in these valleys. The Sangla valley is also known as the Baspa Sangla valley, after river Baspa which flows through the valley and it is the part of Kinnaur valley. And we will drive you to Chitkul ( 20 kms, total 1 hrs, each side - 3,450 metres / 11,318 feet.) which is the last village on Indian side on the Indo–Tibetan border. The village of Chitkul is like something from a fairy tale, and you will have a chance to walk slowly around it. The landscapes are stunning, and you will have plenty of time to enjoy them and talk to the local people. We will return to Sangla for lunch in the local restaurants and later the rest of the day is free to relax in the mountain landscape or if you like you can walk to another nearby villages or nature walk. We will have this second night at the same hotel at Sangla / Rakcham.
Day 04:~ Sangla to Tabo 3,050 metres After breakfast we will drive you to Tabo ( 9 -10 hrs.). Enroute we will drive you through Puh and Nako. We will visit Nako Lake and village and will have lunch in Nako.After Lunch we will process to Tabo en route visit the Ribba,Puh,Maling nala, Sanmdhu, Gue village which is also the last Indian village on Indo-Tibetan boarder. Here we will be visiting the naturally preserved mummy of a Buddhist monk which is about 600 years old, which was discovered here while building the road. Later on reach Tabo and check in to your hotel. Today we will be entering the beautiful Spiti valley which is also known as the cold desert of the Himalayas (this area is cut from rest of the world due to heavy snow in the winters).
Day 05:~ Tabo To Kaza 3,050 metres / After breakfast we will visit the Tabo monastery which is the oldest monastery in the Himalayas.En route we will visit the Dhankar village and Dhankar monastery and fort,Pin Vally. Here we will have a cup of tea or lunch with a local family. Over night stay in Kaza.
Day 06:~ Kaza Local Sight Seeing 3,200 metres / 10,500 feet , Today after breakfast we will be driven to the village of Lagnza. Here there is an opportunity to walk around the village. You may wish to visit the monastery at the top of the village and on the way look out for fossils. Here you can also see the yak working in the fields or yak grazing in the pastures. If weather permits there is an option drive on to Hikkim, and the Comic village, which is now the world’s highest village (4,450 metres) joined to a motorable road. Later we will continue our drive to Kee Monastery and the village of Kibber. Once Kibber (at 4,200 metres) was considered the world’s highest village. There is also the option to walk to the nearby mountains where there are big herds of Himalayan blue sheep and snow ibex gather in the evening. Lunch will be at Kibber village, in a local restaurant, where you will be offered a choice of delicious Tibetan dishes. In the evening we will return to Kaza for a second night at the hotel.
Day 07: ~ Kaza- Kalpa After breakfast at the hotel you will be driven to Kalpa village (2-3 hrs.) Enroute we will stop at Recongpeo and will have a walk around the local market. Recongpeo is the district headquarters of Kinnaur district. We will have lunch in a local restaurant where you have a choice to enjoy Indian or Tibetian food. and we will also drive to kalpa local sight seeing you will check in to your hotel. After some rest you may wish to take a walk to Kalpa village and the near by Roghi village,suicide point, These villages are covered with thick pine forests and are famous for apricots and apples. The finest view of the Mt. Kinner Kailash Mountain (6000 metres) can be had from here. This is a spectacular sight early in the morning as the rising sun touches the snowy peaks with crimson and gold light.Over night stay in kalpa
Day 08:~ Kalpa to Narkanda Today after breakfast we will process to Narkanda and we will visit to Hattu peak (3,400 metres/ 11,154 feet) at Narkanda, from where you can have a spectacular view of the mighty Central Himalayas and will also visit the traditional wooden carved temple of Godess Kali on the top. We will also stop by a small lake on the way to Hattu Peak. Over night stay in narkanda.
Day 09:~ Narkanda to Chandigarh Today after breakfast we will process to Chandigarh and drop you at Chandigarh airport/Railway Station. End of our tour and services.
